There is power in the name of a ministry. It tells you what they are about. I think of places like the Dream Center, a place to dream again. It tells you what they are doing. My mentor, Steve Hill, named his ministry, Together in the Harvest. It told everyone that we want to work with others to see the Great Commission.
In the same way, Missio360 is about the mission of God. Missio is latin for Mission of God. Missio Dei is the term used. We are about God’s command to preach the gospel by casting out devils, speaking in tongues, and healing the sick. (Mark 16:15-18) He told that these signs will confirm the gospel witness. (Mark 15:20)
There are 360 degrees around a circle. We are all in a circle in life. All around us is people who needs the gospel. In others words, Missio360 is God’s Mission to everyone around us. That’s our name.
